- Vegetables (potato, carrot, broccoli, or radish) or Fruits (apple or pear)
- Water color tubes
- Paint brush
- Water
- Paper plate
- Knife
- Paper for painting
- Squeeze water color tube into the paper plate and add a few drops of water to dilute it. Mix well with a paint brush.
- Wash vegetable and pat dry. Divide into 2 to have flat surface.
- Using a knife, carve patterns in the flat side of the vegetable.
- Dip the veggie stamp into the water color mixture and press onto the paper.
- Allow your kids to create various images and objects. Broccoli florets can make nice little trees!
- You can introduce a topic each day you do this activity and develop knowledge in that particular topic.
